FAQ'S for MICROBLADING & FAUX FRECKLES

How much does microblading cost and is the refining session included?

Microblading costs $500 and there will be a $100 deposit. The rest will be due on the date of service. The refining session is not included. It costs $150.

What does microblading feel like?

Topical anesthetics are applied and should make any discomfort you may have minimal. I use one prior to the service that sits for 25-30 mins and then I use a second after the first pass of microblading that works within just a few minutes. Typically it could be described as light pressure or pinching similar to popping a pimple during procedure and like a minor sunburn post appointment. Swelling and redness is common, although minimal in clients and will dissipate within 24 hours or less.

Immediately following the microblading appointment.

The treated area may feel a bit like a sunburn and may be a little tender, this is minimal and will lighten up over the next few hours. You can definitely get to your usual activities and socializing after your appointment.

How long does microblading last?

Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure and typically lasts 1-2 years. It truly depends on a number of factors including sun exposure, skin type, pigment color, and if you get chemical peels and other intense facial treatments.

Can I get my eyebrows microbladed if they've previously been tattooed?

This varies per individual circumstances; I will need you to send me a photo of your brows. It will depend on how dark the previous tattooed brows are. You must notify me while making the appointment because we will need to talk about the expectation of the outcome when the procedure is completed.

Can I get tattooed if I'm nursing or pregnant?

As a precaution, how about we wait until your baby is here and you're no longer nursing. Congratulations on your new baby! I look forward to seeing you!

How will my brows look immediately after the procedure?

Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker, bolder in color, and more sharply defined. Do not panic! This will last 3-4 days and is totally normal. Your brows will lighten over the following days/week.

Is there an age requirement to get this procedure?

The minimum age for getting your microblading is 18.

How much do faux freckles cost?

Faux freckles are $100 and the touch up appointment is $50.

What do faux freckles feel like?

Cosmetic tattooed freckles feel similar to popping a pimple or like a little pinch.

How long do faux freckles last?

This all depends on how well the client heals the freckles, if sun screen is applied while being outdoors and how quickly the body metabolizes the pigment. Cosmetic tattoo ink is specifically designed to break up and fade over time. This ensures that the pigment will stay the color that was chosen, very important. It is also a bonus if the client decides they liked their freckles while they lasted, but they would like to move on in life without them and they can simply let them naturally fade away. So, if properly maintained faux freckles will last about 12-18 months.

What will my freckles look like immediately after my appointment?

The faux freckles will be slightly raised and deep in color immediately after the cosmetic tattoo procedure. This subsides after a couple hours and the rich color will heal out soft and natural two months after the entire healing process is completed.
