WELCOME TO COSMETIC TATTOOING
Hi, I am Courtney Michelle. I was born in the hustle and bustle of San Francisco California, but I grew up in the beautiful and charming San Luis Obispo County. As soon as I graduated high school I attended San Luis Obispo Beauty College in search of a career that felt creative and exciting. While I learned a plethora about the hair industry and shared an awesome experience with talented friends, it wasn't completely fulfilling. Years later I gravitated towards cosmetic tattooing. I searched for the best schools from Los Angeles to San Francisco. BOOM! I attended The Microblading Institute in the Bay Area and trained under international master artist, Maya Moore.
Microblading, the “born with it beauty” is so popular for multiple reasons. Many clients turn to permanent makeup so they can decrease their morning routine, others turn to it as a solution if they're uncomfortable doing their own makeup. Some like the idea of perfecting their base look with semi-permanent makeup and then building upon that with makeup for a more glamorous and dramatic look. Since microblading is a semi-permanent process it has the ability to let you change it in the future. The fading process allows us to make tweaks as the years go on, giving the client the option to change their brow shape and pigment colors. No longer are the days of body tattooing on your face that you’re stuck with forever. Whew!
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
You've probably heard of all the trending buzzwords like feather strokes, combo brow, blade and shade and so on. All of these terms speak to microblading. This is a form of cosmetic tattooing in which a small handheld tool made of tiny needles is used to place pigment into the skin that creates the look of little hairs and the fluff everyone loves. It helps fill in sparse or thinning brows by adding more density, as well as correcting the shape. When you can wake up with makeup, not only do you feel beautiful, but it is one less task checked off of your never ending to-do list.
